Who's responsible
iOwnIt is run by FLYING PENGUIN d.o.o., Osječka 5B, 21000 Split, Croatia. That company is the data controller for everything described below, and contact@iownit.love reaches the person who operates it.
Croatia is in the EU, so the GDPR applies. If you think your data is being handled badly and writing to us doesn't fix it, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority (AZOP) or to the equivalent body in your own country.
This website
This site — the pages you're reading now — has no forms and asks you for nothing. It sets no cookies at all unless you allow analytics below.
The fonts are served from this server rather than from Google, so loading a page doesn't tell anyone else that you visited.
If you allow analytics
Google Analytics loads and sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_VHXCGRQPJT, which let it tell a returning visit from a new one. We use it to see which pages people read. We don't use it for advertising, and advertising features are switched off.
If you decline, the Google Analytics script is never loaded, so there is nothing to opt out of afterwards. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so it doesn't travel with your requests.
The app
Signing up at app.iownit.love is a separate thing from reading this site. To run your account, the app stores:
- Your name and email, so the account exists and we can reach you
- Your password, stored hashed, never in a readable form
- Your departments and tasks, including what you completed and when
- Your reminder times and timezone, so notifications arrive when you asked
- A push notification token, if you turn notifications on
- Your household, if you have one, and which departments belong to whom
If you share a household, your partner sees your completion rate and which departments you own. They do not see anything else about you.
Who else gets it
- Stripe handles payment. They take your card details directly — we never see or store them. They tell us that a subscription started, and nothing about your card.
- Google Analytics, only if you allowed it above, and only for this website.
Nobody else. Your household data is not sold, shared, or used to train anything.
Getting rid of it
Settings in the app has a Danger Zone with Delete account. It removes your account and its data permanently and can't be undone. You don't have to ask anyone's permission or wait for a reply.
If you'd rather have a copy first, Task History exports to CSV from inside the app.
You can also email contact@iownit.love to ask what's held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted for you.
