The short version
iOwnIt is made by me, Vedran. Not a company, not a team, not a startup with a careers page. One person, who built the thing he needed because he was the problem it solves. The longer story is on the homepage.
That means support is me, the roadmap is me, and the inbox below is me. It also means this moves at the speed one person moves at, which is worth knowing before you rely on it.
The company the money goes through is Flying Penguin d.o.o., registered in Split. It exists so there is something to invoice and pay tax with, not because there is an office full of people.

How it's paid for
Subscriptions. Solo is $9 a year and Household is $19 a year, and that is the entire business model. There are no investors to keep happy, no advertising, and nothing about your household is sold to anyone.
That is also the honest reason it costs money rather than being free. A free app about household labour would have to make its money some other way, and every other way involves your data.
What you're actually buying
- An app that notices and remembers so your partner doesn't have to
- A 14-day trial first, so you can find out whether you'll use it
- The ability to delete your account and everything in it, from inside the app
- A person who reads the contact address
What it isn't
It isn't therapy, and it isn't a fix for a relationship that needs one. It's a tool for the logistics. Why this exists goes into what the tool is actually for, and is worth reading before you pay for anything.
It's also new. Things will be rough in places. If you find one, the address above is a real inbox.

Short version: this site sets no cookies unless you allow analytics, the fonts are served from here rather than from Google, and payment goes through Stripe. The privacy page has the detail.
